The Sunset Years

—————–

This reminds me of my parents.  It looks like a place they would like.

I love them very much…..

———–

The sunset years…

Full of scarlets and golds…

Slowly falling and descending…

Twirling lazily in the breeze, and

Destined for the ground…

But thankfully delayed…

By a well placed cypress bench…

In the middle of an oak field…

One lovely…

lonely…

Fall day…

  1. This photo reminds me on one of mine that I took in spring this year. Poem is vivid and beautiful a bit sad but I can imagine them sitting there hand in hand smiling to eachother enjoying sunset years. I wish them healthy and happy sunset years to come.
