Building bridges
with the slenderest straw…
Stacking it carefully…
Laying the pieces down one by one…
And crossing with eyes
closed…
Stretching out twig like fingers….
With only my rhythmic pulse
to guide me…
And just praying that this
bridge …
Leads to some place better
than nowhere…
To a location where
my heart can let go
of fear…
And just rest…
for a bit..

Sometime nowhere is the right place to be, and I’m glad there is a bridge to get me there.
Thank you Mr. David for this photo & these words.
And that is a good point. Wise words indeed. Thank you Mr. Jueseppi!
You are half way there crossing with closed eyes. It sounds like your heart has let go of fear. I can feel the search in your words.

So beautiful written and so sad. For me bridges are hope and you have option to cross it or not and to be stuck or move forward to find peace.
That’s true. At least you’re still connected when there is a bridge..
I agree still connected and hope is still there.
Thank God for hope
