Stone Alive….

The Drip of Life

——

That sound I hear it comes from where?

Maybe sky or maybe air?

in fact it is some foolish dare…

unblighted and so wrongly fair…

—–

My feeble mind it starts to creep…

walking as if in my sleep…

in the woods I travel deep…

To where the water starts to seep…

—–

From up ahead there comes a moan….

Liquidity that slaps on stone….

Then I see it all alone…

The tiny drip of love on bone…

——

Solitary in its pride….

Nary a few meters wide…

smooth enough as if to glide…

up and over side to side…

—–

A lifetime seen within a glance…

dazzled bright without a chance…

Endless power to enchant…

Within this rock’s eternal dance….

Lovely David. Everything in nature offers us the gift of going deeper within. Thank you .
