Vertically Awaits

Steeper than it looks...

——

Pounding heart and torrid breath…

slurping up the countryside…

Greedily gobbling each delicious step…

sometimes I wonder….

how much beauty will it take to stop my heart?

How long til my breath is stolen?

Like a succubus in the night…

I await her…

Arms open…

accepting my fait…

Birth has cursed me with twisted love…

Finally she says it’s time…

All sounds are stilled…

Happy at last..

      • i’m having internet difficulties right now, so, posting a piece is very difficult!

well anyway, I was very overwhelmed that you include me in your list!!THANK YOU SO MUCH FOR THAT!;)

I’m so happy that you enjoyed my pieces and include me on that list, very much overwhelmed! as i told you, i just wanted to be felt 😉 thank you so much again!;)

        • I know how you feel exactly…I almost didn’t accept the awards, because as you say…i just wanted to express myself, get some things out…and be felt…But it really is an honor for someone to say they enjoy your work….And I do enjoy yours as i’m sure many others do and will:)

  2. yeah i hope they will love my pieces as much as you do, being appreciated is so nice especially if you’re surrounded by people who didn’t even know that your poetry exists.. 😉

    • Luckily the internet opens the world up and allows us to move past our own immediate existence…Things grow slowly but they do grow and hopefully those nearest and dearest to you will begin to open their eyes 🙂
