head of mine….
looking down…
scared to death
of the ground…
—–
so far away…
so I go…
before I get
vertigo….
—–
so afraid…
of the fall….
but I go….
to them all…
——
paradox…
truly so…
love the hills…
with vertigo…

Full of the spirals of life- another excellent poem David
and sadly true…I love the mountains but am scared of heights…:)
I am terrified of heights..I had vertigo for about 3 years solid more than 25 years ago and the thought of not having both my feet planted firmly on the ground realllllly makes me nuts hahaha this poem and pic did make me feel a bit woooosie.. great anyways 🙂
I know what you mean:( And it’s so crazy that
I love being in the very place that I fear…
Thank you Cynthia:)
I get vertigo too…not as much from heights as from patterns! Love the peppy feel of this piece. Makes me think the heights phobia will soon overcome:)
My dad has it worse than me, yet he loves it too:))) Patterns!! very Hitchcockian:)
be 🙂
sad..However, the photo is lovely
thank you for stopping by::)
love the photo, and I certainly relate to the vertigo..
Thank you so much…I think a lot of us love the mountains yet still have that problem
paradox…
truly so…
love the hills…
with vertigo…
Love this!
I had vertigo terrible about 5 years ago, I still get bouts of it at times.
Your words made me feel like I was spinning. They all flowed superbly into a vertigoish dance. 🙂
And, that dance is the safest way to experience vertigo:))) I certainly hope yours has calmed down a bit, and I’m really glad you enjoyed this
hey, i almost skip this. erg, never experience vertigo yet, i think i had once, when i immediately got out of my bed because there’s a cockroach landing on my nose, then i got dizzy 😉
hope you’ll get through that vertigo thing, there are a lot of mountains that you’ll need to climb and poems needed to write about it 😉
I know right! Well I’m ok as long as its not too steep or as long as I don’t get too close to the edge.:)
believe it or not, after reading this, i suddenly got dizzy… this poem is contagious 😉
Haha…The peom is viral lol
This poem shows your courage. Love it. 🙂
:))). Thank you kim. It is certainly an odd situation
