Sunrise Duet…

Perfection

——

First!  a Haiku

—–

Scarlet rays arrive

Sky dressing in finery

Clouds afire in red…

—-

Next…..a short rhymer…

—–

Morning comes and neck is back…

Eyes are staring mouth is slack…

In my head there comes a crack…

Bleeding clouds more red than black…

—-

Stare in awe toward the sky…

Birds and bees are buzzing  by….

Colors are the reason why…

sweet sunrise juicy as pie…

—-

Gone so quick I cannot feel…

Emotions soft though were steel…

like a bruise upon my heel…

Fate has turned her endless wheel…

  1. I am wildly in love with the sky (and clouds) any time of the day or night, but I love it when it has beautiful colors waving on its canvas. Awesome Haiku!

“Fate has turned her endless wheel…”

Awww…sweet and painful at the same time.
