In the corner of the yard….
neath the quickening shadows…
beyond the berries black…
Lies the place…
That I saw…
And relaxed…
and breathed…
breath after gasping
breath…
air filling my lungs…
my heart…
painting lemony filigrees
on my soul…
til the time comes…
when I can face the world
again..
