Safe Harbor

—–

She Opens her arms

wide enough

for even the lost sheep

of the world

to harbor in her safety…

And though the

road runs away

from this place…

The invitation

remains today…

and sails swiftly

and surely..

to the land

of forever..

  1. soooo beautiful poem David…Like it a lot…and photo is breathtaking (like poem) this tree and and light that comes through branches 🙂

  2. Unconditional love, forgiveness, open arms, light shining through….forever….happy endings! Now you’re talking! Yay! Gorgeous tree, and how you included the road running away…my new favorite. Of course, I’m partial to big loving trees with open arms. 😉 Sam of the green

  3. awww, this is soo sweet just like you David 🙂 every birds and animals could safely nestle in this marvelous tree, and every poet who read your poem is warmed by your creation! 🙂
