The trees shielded
their ocular limbs
as their sweet but eccentric friend
dropped by….
Falling out of the sky like
a golden stone lit by the
heaven’s own fire…
it was important to remember
that the sun never meant
any harm when it sweated up
our brows in search of coolness…
on the contrary…
we all show love the only
way we can…
And our solar friend
was certainly no different
than the rest of good intentioned
but worried
mortals…

I love how you depict the sun’s coming. Such a pureness and desire to love. And the way sun is accepted as just another part of the collective in sun’s wanting and needs. Very heart-filled. Inspiring and refreshing. Photo is lovely, too. Sam 🙂
