Touchless….

——

light’s amber purity

streams unfettered into the

spring below…

Water flows like waves of glass…

 And fish dance and swim

with innocent confidence…

with your eyes as your guide

waltz along with the water’s sweet flow

and leave your destruction

as angry thoughts

within the palms….

of your useless….

hands…

Terrific imagery again David… I just love how you bring natural happenings so close to the heart with your words… Beautiful all around! Good Morning!!!

  2. So well done, again, the last little bit has me thinking more deeply…coffee, then a re-read. Thanks for your brilliant writing yet again David:)

      • oh I hate when I struggle with one…it is a frustation for sure…this morning…I am having the same trouble..a full piece written…but, the words, ick, not 100% right yet. Sometimes I let them go anyway, and revise after…but this one is not metaphoric…so I fear it’s release…(chewing nails at the choice to expose too much of my self) Hope your day is going well David

        • lol…no David…nothing you do is ‘awful’…I think it is not in your ability to be such…lol…how many of mine have rhythm issue…to me that’s secondary…an easily ammended usually:)

  3. Keep out sign should be seen more often in nature. I really like the sign and your poem. Starts so soft and smooth carries you on waves, ends up soo hard. Like it. 🙂

Something about the thought of amber purity. Partial to amber as it is fossilized resin from ancient trees/forests. So the combination is inspiring to me. And unfettered, too, release from restraint and inhibition…. So this ancient purity streams free of inhibition…..see why that’s awesome. 😉 And the sign/photo, who wouldn’t dig that. You are the bee’s knees. Hugs, Sam

  5. David, this post makes me think more deeply. We humans, on the whole planet, we must be protective of the biosphere, because it will not suffer. In our minds we build such a fence, as is the image that says “do not destroy biosefa!”
Thank you very much for this post.  Have a quiet night and all the best for tomorrow, David! 🙂
