The Spectral Gasp

——–

Even in our rushing…

heart pounding..

state of mind..

Some things are so exquisite…

So tearfully lovely…

that even a lifetime of staring,

is not enough to burn the

perfection of the image

into your retinas…

Memories are vivid..

but, the purity

of the reality

is so much

  4. Yes – tearfully exquisite David… both words and photo… wow!! How did you ever get the sky to do that for you? The arc over the water sheltering the magnificent sunset ….beautiful…and although memories cannot ever be like reality — this photo can help you relive this moment over and over again…. 🙂
