Soft Focus/Lazy Days

————

with the gentleness

of a blown dandelion,

The lights softly flittered

through the leaves…

Leaving golden kisses

during every waypoint

on its daily journey…

The water received it warmly

like two hands clasped

by long-lost friends,

and convected it into

the souls of all the living things

here or there..

It was not known what

happened after that…

But, those near could

feel the joy

that floated off the river

for many crystalline

days after..

  1. mmmmm I like this part.

    But, those near could
    feel the joy
    that floated off the river
    for many crystalline
    days after..

I can feel the river and floating in it…Your words and my imagination takes me on endless journeys of swamps, rivers,…….

  2. Awww, the beauty and joy of their clasping – letting all the rest of us swim away in their golden kisses. So flowy, and whimsy for me. Wonderful image…yet, again! πŸ™‚
