Early Morning Delight

—————-

In a rush of wind softened

only by the grass’s

secretive whisper…

Several flowers

unfolded their

delicate petals

in an effort to see

the world….

And, with a

goosebump laced

smile…

The world was

well pleased…

  1. Pretty. “In a rush of wind softened” — I love that line! Say it aloud; it sounds so beautiful!
“The world was/ well pleased” sounds rather formal and perhaps old-fashioned –which is quite suitable for the world personified here. : ) ~ Lily
