Crossing Into the Wild

————–

Black asphalt steams away

in its collision course

with its first cousin…

the gravel drive….

Gravel leads to mulch…

Mulch becomes dirt…

Dirt changes into grass

which eventually winds its way

into a dark forest glen…

Far apart from human eyes….

in a place located deeply

within the hearts

of everyone…

who has ever walked

a road…

alone…

  1. I really liked this one, there was something about the shifting, when it got to grass and progressed to a dark forest glen I could literally see a new world shifting into focus before my mind’s eye. Brilliant.
