Wood in the Ground

——————

Sometimes…

When wood follows wood

in a long sentry line…

patrolling the area

calmly

and stoically…

I am reminded of how

thankless a job

it can be…

To do things quietly…

but properly…

With no expectations

of recognition…

or kind words…

Til the day when you lay warped…

and broken on the ground…

And everyone wonders…

what in the world…

has happened..

in this place?

—–

If only they..

knew…

  1. What the unobserved do, is always, always underappreciated. There are many who do see…and with that in mind, all of us here, we support and admire your dedication to your life and the work you do. x Have a wonderful day, full of heart, and breathe…just breathe.
