Haiku and Woody Verse

Chalk lovely forest…

Drifting backwards out of time…

Lifeblood in the ground…

——————–

The cool sincerity

of the trees

offers gentle whispers

to tired ears,

and floating off to sleep

is one way to see the stars…

that drift above

the woody sky…
