The Time out of Color

washed out

Orbital hues dipped and dashed

within the time stream…

Cruising and darting til their

tales joined together

into an atomic helix…

The seconds clicked to minutes…

And the minutes melted into days…

Til counting had no purpose…

And the numbers were forgotten

by many…

With the colors saddened

to the point of grey…

 grey…

in all its glory…

Lifted into the sky….

to benignly watch over all…

And gently crush spirits…

whenever they rose up…

to meet her…

I like this lines very much. Poem pulled me in
and carried me through all the shades of grey and spit me out and left me dreamy. I felt seconds and minutes and forgot counting and just melted in eternity of grey.
