The Turbulence Effect

Turbulence

———————–

Starving and parched while

living in a land of extremes…

This barren floodplain

reeks of misty phantoms

and the roar

of life not long for this world…

the deluge is here…

But, for all its power

and raging energy…

soon, it will be a trickle…

And sooner than now…

Β gone all together…

Leaving behind mouths opened…

with expectations

Of hope and happiness…

that can never

truly…

Be fulfilled…

  1. A bit sad poem but I truly believe that there is no barier in this world that could stop you from getting what you want if you want that with all of your heart. Reach out and take it, its there waiting for you.
    Like your poem πŸ™‚

  2. πŸ™‚ funny thing is, I had my mouth agape for about ten minutes today…never ever happens. I was staring at the beauty of the green of a tree where it meets the blue of the clear sky. Just enveloped in the beauty, and thinking this exact thing: My mouth is open….. hmmmmm Maybe the opposite pendulum of this peace…the yin of the yang, so to speaketh. πŸ™‚ oh, and lovely, as always…. even your gloomy-ness has that wisdom and hope interwoven.
