Placebic Tendencies

Placebic Tendencies

—————-

Little footsteps trickle along…

First like cat’s feet…

Then….

as an aquatic stampede…

Feeding the starving,

while stroking…

 and gently caressing…

the lost..

and forgotten..

And, when the land

has reached its

state of climax…

With the water draining

and dripped away…

Only to leach into

the starving ground…

and here…

In this place of cool darkness….

The memories will still remain…

Bundled in tight….

Deep under the Earth…

In a place…

where only

beauty…

and kindness…

dwells…

  2. So beautiful poem, fully loaded with mix of emotions like all your poems are. Smoothly leads you from word to another till the end where beauty and kindness dwells.
