Slow Thoughts

stately

————————-

Lick lapping the shore

with the gentle rhythm that only

waves can provide…

he felt the coolness

of the salt

sting his bark…

Soaking and water logging his skin…

Slowly warping and rotting

His grainy interior…

and somewhere…

Deep inside the slowness

of that thing

he called a brain…

He realized…

This was not a place to

stay…

It might be okay to

visit occasionally…

But to live here…

would mean his life…

or…

even worse…

  2. You described this place really good with softness and I like it. Its beautiful place to be. I like the end.
    But to live here…
    would mean his life…
    or…
    even worse…
    So go for green 🙂
